The SiGNgapore2D dataset is published as part of the work "Sign Language: Towards Sign Understanding for Robot Autonomy". The work present the task of navigational sign understanding, which includes detecting and parsing signs that aid humans with wayfinding. The dataset contains 160 images of scenes that include at least one navigational sign, and 205 navigational signs for the recognition task.
