Terms of use
These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Silytics governing access to and use of silytics.si and related pages, content and services (together, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Site.
1. The operator
The Site is operated by Silytics (“Silytics”, “we”, “us”, “our”), through its duly established legal entity. Notices and enquiries: [email protected]. Identification details of the operating entity are provided on written request where there is a legitimate and lawful need.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Site only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and are not barred from doing so by applicable law or sanctions. If you use the Site for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
3. The Site and its content
The Site is an information and discovery service about artificial intelligence. It presents metadata, links and summaries drawn from public sources such as arXiv, Hugging Face and GitHub, and from our own editorial work, each linking to the original source. We do not host or redistribute third parties' papers, models or datasets. Content is provided for general information only. We may add, change, suspend or remove any part of the Site, or restrict access to it, at any time, without notice or liability.
4. No advice and no reliance
Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal, tax, security, technical or other professional advice, or a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any asset, including the SLTX token. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for obtaining independent advice. You agree not to rely on the Site, its content, or statements made by or on behalf of Silytics on any channel as the basis for any financial or other decision.
5. Third-party content and accuracy
- Data on the Site comes from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or changed at the source. We make no representation as to its accuracy or completeness. Check the original source before relying on it.
- Summaries identified as AI-generated may contain errors and are provided only to help you locate material.
- We do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for third-party websites, models, datasets, tools, repositories or services we link to. Their own licenses and terms apply, and your use of them is at your own risk.
- Counts, rankings, ratings and trends derive from third-party data and may not be comparable or complete.
6. Licence and intellectual property
The Silytics name, logos, design, text, software and compilation of data are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Site and to view its content for your own lawful, non-commercial use. You may link to the Site and quote short extracts with attribution. All other rights are reserved. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by us.
7. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to:
- use the Site unlawfully, fraudulently or to infringe the rights of any person;
- copy, scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically extract content, or use automated means to access the Site, other than ordinary search-engine indexing and our published feeds, and in any case at a rate that degrades the service (use the original sources' own APIs for bulk access);
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, accounts or data, probe or test its security without our written permission, or circumvent any control;
- introduce malware or interfere with the operation of the Site;
- submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or harmful;
- use our name, logos or brand to suggest endorsement, to promote any token or project, or to impersonate Silytics or its personnel;
- use the Site in or from a jurisdiction, or on behalf of a person, subject to applicable sanctions or where such use is unlawful.
8. Digital assets (SLTX)
Information about SLTX on the Site is provided for transparency only. It is not an offer, invitation or solicitation of any kind, and nothing on the Site promises or implies any return, price, market, listing, liquidity, utility or other benefit. SLTX confers no right in or against Silytics. Silytics does not sell SLTX and does not operate, control or endorse any market or service in which SLTX is traded. If you choose to acquire or use SLTX you do so independently, on your own initiative and at your own risk. By using the Site you confirm that you have read the Risk disclosure and acknowledgement and the whitepaper, that you are responsible for compliance with all laws that apply to you (including tax, financial-services and sanctions law), and that the Site is not directed at persons in any jurisdiction where its publication or the use of digital assets would be unlawful.
9. Accounts and paid services
You may create an account with an email code, a Google account or a wallet signature. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in methods and API keys secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. One person or organization may not use accounts to get around plan limits. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or put the Site at risk, and you can delete your account at any time in your account page. Use of the API and MCP server is also governed by the API terms. Paid plans and other paid services are described when offered and are paid under the Payments and refunds terms. If further paid services are introduced, additional terms covering pricing, payment, refunds and advertising will apply and will be presented before you use those features. Payments made to Silytics, including in SLTX, are governed by the Payments and refunds terms. Where a conflict arises, the additional terms prevail for that service.
10. Reports, corrections and takedown
If you believe content is inaccurate or infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected] with the page address, a description of the problem, your contact details and, for infringement, evidence of your right. We may remove or correct content at our discretion and may share notices with the relevant source or rights holder.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, including where we believe you have breached these Terms, where required by law, or to protect the Site or others.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, uninterrupted or error-free operation, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site is free of malware or that any defect will be corrected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silytics and its owners, officers, personnel, contractors and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunity or digital assets, however arising and whatever the legal theory, from or in connection with the Site, its content, the SLTX token or any market in it, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim and EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Silytics and its owners, officers, personnel and contractors against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Site, or your infringement of any person's rights. This clause does not apply to consumers where mandatory law prohibits it.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by publishing the revised version with a new date. Your continued use of the Site after publication constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, you must stop using the Site.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Site are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Silytics' operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing limits any mandatory right you have as a consumer to rely on the law of, or bring proceedings in, the country where you live. Before starting any claim you agree to notify us at [email protected] and to allow 30 days to attempt to resolve it informally.
17. General
These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and supersede earlier understandings. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. No third party has rights under these Terms.
