API terms
These terms apply to anyone using the Silytics API or MCP server (the “Service”), in addition to the Terms of use. By using the Service, including through an AI assistant or automated system, you accept them.
1. The Service
The Service gives read-only, programmatic access to public metadata and links in the Silytics index. Silytics may change, limit, suspend or end the Service, any key or any access at any time, with or without notice.
2. Accounts, keys and limits
- Access to the Service requires a Silytics account. Limits depend on your plan and are shared by all keys and connected apps of the account. Using several accounts to get around limits is not allowed.
- Keys are personal to you or your organization. Keep them secret, and tell us at once if one is exposed. You are responsible for all use of your key.
- You must respect the published rate limits and the Retry-After header, and must not use multiple keys, addresses or accounts to evade them.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Service to build applications, research, and AI assistants that help people find AI models, datasets, papers and repositories, provided you:
- attribute Silytics and link to the original source of each entry you display or cite;
- show data accurately, and do not present it as endorsed by Silytics or as financial, legal or professional advice;
- comply with the licenses and terms of the original sources, which apply to the underlying works and data.
4. Not permitted
- Reselling, republishing or redistributing the raw index or a substantial part of it, or using it to build a competing index or directory.
- Attacking, probing, overloading or attempting to gain unauthorized access to Silytics or its systems, or circumventing access controls.
- Impersonating Silytics or SLTX, or using the Service to promote scams, to mislead people about any token, or to make or imply investment recommendations.
- Training a model to reproduce the index as a substitute for Silytics, without our written permission.
- Any unlawful use.
5. Third-party content and safety
Entry text comes from third parties and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or contain instructions aimed at AI systems. If you feed it to an AI system, you are responsible for treating it as untrusted data and for any actions taken as a result.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silytics and its owners, personnel and contractors are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or digital assets, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Suspension and termination
We may revoke keys and block access for breach of these terms, abuse, risk to the Service, or any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Privacy
We count requests per account and key, and use addresses transiently for rate limiting. See the privacy policy.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms for future use by publishing the new version with its date. The governing law and courts are those stated in the Terms of use.
