Made a little ghost LoRA since I find transparent, translucent ghosts hard to get right on SDXL. It's trained on ghost people, but you might squeeze out a few animals too. From other people's results I have also seen transparency show up more overall. Try weights from 0.3-1.5 and beyond. Big thanks to Masslevel for all the awesome images shown here!
