Flickr30k-TR: Turkish Image Captions Turkish translation of the Flickr30k image captioning dataset, produced for the master's thesis "Compact Vision-Language Models for Low-Resource Turkish Image Captioning: Projection-Based Fusion Strategies". Captions were translated locally with Gemma 2 9B (via Ollama). Gemma 2 was chosen after a pairwise LLM-as-a-judge comparison of six open-source LLMs (see below). Images are not included.
